Jay was not exactly the smartest academically as a kid and never made it into
college either. While this holds true he is no slouch when is comes to his musical talent.
At a tender age of three, he started to learn the piano. His mother was worried about what
the future held for him. She was very strict and made Jay learn to play the piano
properly. Not only did he master the piano but the cello as well. He learned this later on
in life and is now featured in some of his music.
Jay has won numerous awards at such a young age. These
include Best Composer (for the song Black Humour), Best Album (Fantasy), Best Songwriter
(Love Before the Century), & Best Producer (Fantasy). Wow, that is a lot huh? Well he
deserves all of them and more will definitely come.
